About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to lead the development and delivery of a high-impact claims management platform.

This role involves overseeing end-to-end project execution, designing technical solutions, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation. If you are a results-driven professional with a strong background in application development and cloud technology, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Define and execute the technical direction for the project as a lead.
• Oversee a distributed development team to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Work closely with business teams and analysts to gather and analyze requirements to deliver relevant solutions.
• Assess project feasibility, create solution designs, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
• Review and validate technical documentation to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Manage project reporting, including timelines, progress tracking, and production rollout plans.
• Conduct code and system testing reviews to maintain quality standards.

• Monitor vendor performance and ensure smooth delivery of outsourced tasks.
• Manage costs to achieve efficient implementation of solutions.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical resolutions for issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Offer technical assistance and guidance to end-users when required.

• Ensure all systems and deliverables align with organizational standards, including security, infrastructure, and architecture guidelines.
• Take on other responsibilities as assigned to achieve project goals.

What We're Looking For:

• Mandarin Language capabilities is a MUST due to vendor being based in Mainland China
• At least 8 years of experience in application development or IT projects, with 3+ years in the insurance sector.
• Claims systems revamp or implementation experience is a MUST
• Familiarity with other Insurance systems or operations is a plus.
• Leadership experience in managing development teams for at least 2 years.

• Strong expertise in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as ReactJS, Java EE, Spring Cloud, and business rules engines like Drools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a bonus.
• Experience working in agile environments using frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
