Security Engineer
Location: Bern (Hybrid: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote)

Oliver James is recruiting for a Security Engineer to join a dynamic organization in Bern, tasked with building a Security Operations Center (SOC) from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop the SOC's systems, tools, and processes from scratch, working closely with the team lead to establish a robust and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SOC infrastructure, security measures, tools, and systems.
• Develop documentation and contribute to process development.
• Implement new use cases and enhance the SOC's operational capabilities.
• Support vulnerability management initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in security engineering, ideally with SOC-building experience.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Degree or technical apprenticeship in a related field is preferred.
