Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Zurich (Hybrid)

After a period of growth, the team is looking to make a final hire to help push forward their plans for better security. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for the technical side of their security centre, playing an important role in the team.
This role is ideal for a Cyber Security Engineer with experience in a SOC, CDC or Cyber team who enjoys working with new technologies, processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical go to for the development and improvement of the security centre.
- Maintain and improve tools and processes such as use case engineering, exposure management, threat modelling, and automation.
- Automate repetitive tasks using SOAR tools.
- Work with technologies like Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel and Python.
- Collaborate with the cyber security management team, sharing knowledge and updates with the team and wider business.
What You'll Need
- A few years of experience in cyber defence.
- A strong background in Cyber Security Engineering.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams.
- Proficiency in German or Swiss German (C1/C2 or native level).
Nice to Have
- A degree or similar qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and Azure Sentinel.
