Oliver James are delighted to be recruiting for this unique Senior Actuary opportunity with one of our leading Life insurance clients. The business is a cutting edge global organisation with their European headquarters located in Dublin city centre.
You will oversee a team of 5-10 actuaries (depending on experience) to support with Actuarial reporting and project work. The role gives direct access to the senior stakeholders ( e.g Head of Actuarial Function).
The business is looking for a motivated qualified actuary with ambitions to be the next Head of Actuarial Function (HoAF) in the medium/long term. The company will provide clear career structure to realise this goal. Through this path you will gain further exposure and development, and also have the opportunity to shape the organisation and contribute to improved processes and systems.
The role will be perfect for a qualified actuary, with a couple of years PQE and some exposure to management. You don't need to have led large teams previously.
Location: Dublin - Ideally 2 days per week in the office
Salary: 90,000-110,000 EUR (Salary dependent on experience) + 20% bonus
Desired experience:
- Qualified Actuary with at least 2 years PQE (more welcome)
- Strong knowledge of Financial reporting processes
- Knowledge of Solvency II requirements
- Previously experience managing a team would be beneficial
- Good communication skills and comfortable working with senior stakeholders
