We are looking for an Underwriters who has:

• 5+ years of experience within Individual Life Underwriting
• at least a 3M authority limit (Required)
• FLMI, FALU and/or CLU designations preferred or progress towards these designations.
• Substandard case experience a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assess and approve both formal and informal applications independently, ensuring decisions align with approval authority guidelines.
• Analyze complex data and make thorough medical and financial evaluations according to company policies and guidelines.
• Handle changes effectively, resolve conflicts, and negotiate outcomes that are favorable.
• Take a holistic approach to work processes, understanding how decisions and actions impact other areas.
• Stay organized and efficiently manage a large volume of cases.
• Exhibit advanced technical underwriting expertise and proficiency.
• Interact independently and effectively with a sophisticated field force, serving an upscale market.
