Our client, a leading Private Credit asset manager, is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their growing fund accounting team. Our client works on a hybrid model in downtown Chicago, provides competitive compensation, and clear internal promotion pathways.
Responsibilities:
- Complete financial reporting and investor reporting in a timely and accurate manor
- Execute cash management activities including sending wires for investment company purchases, reconciling capital calls, and requesting draws and pay downs on the fund's lines of credit
- Assist in preparation of regulatory compliance reporting and internal audits
- Complete weekly and monthly fund performance and investor reporting
- Review K-1's and tax reporting
- Assist in special projects and support on ad-hoc requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
- At least 2-4 years of experience in financial service industry or public accounting firm, with specialisation in private equity, private credit, real estate, financial services, hedge fund, fund of funds and venture capital funds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
