My client, a high growth Private Credit Asset Manager, is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team and work on both public and private funds. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements and assisting with the internal accounting and reporting needs
- Analysis of capital calls, distributions, and NAV calculations
- Preparing and supporting the partners for capital allocations
- Assist in preparation of regulatory compliance reporting and internal audits
- Assist in special projects and support on ad-hoc requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
- Experience with public alternative funds is a plus
- At least 3-6 years of experience in financial service industry or public accounting firm, with specialisation in private equity, private credit, hedge fund, fund of funds and venture capital funds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
