Senior Manager, Technical Accounting - Insurance Industry
A leading national insurance brokerage is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to join its corporate finance team. This high-impact role will oversee technical accounting, financial reporting, and M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical accounting research and implement new US GAAP standards
- Oversee accounting for M&A transactions, including purchase price allocations
- Provide guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial reporting
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, and Internal Audit on accounting policies and disclosures
- Produce accounting memos for new accounting standards
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- 8+ years of experience, ideally a mix of Big 4 and corporate accounting
- Strong technical expertise in US GAAP and M&A accounting
