Senior System Actuary - Life & Health - Paris (Fluent English)
Our client, a leading global reinsurer is looking to expend their European technical actuarial support team and are therefore looking for a senior systems actuary to bolster their Paris office team.
The actuarial technical support and technical financial reporting team are key components within the Life & health Business.
Your main responsibilities will be to support the Life & Health Financial reporting team in optimizing the financial reporting processes across the business to help them make key decisions at a strategic level and optimize their reporting processes.
You will help to drive the development of the IFRS17 Service Margin engine which includes the processes, reporting and controls to provide support to all the users and stakeholders within the business.
You will also be responsible for challenging group-level proposals and IT technical specifications to ensure all the of the systems are fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate will have experience in
- Actuarial systems developments
- Project management experience
- Previous experience working on actuarial tools such as SQL, Python and VBA
- Knowledge of actuarial reporting processes (IFRS17 & SII)
- Innovative and not afraid to put forwards new ideas.
- Fluent in English and French (MOST)
- At least 5 years of experience ideally in L&H
