Job Title: Senior Software Developer (Microsoft Technologies)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (negotiable)

A leading Manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in Microsoft technologies. In this role, you'll design and build applications using ASP.NET/Blazor/C# or Power Platform, enhance a strategic inspection planning system, and provide technical leadership in a Microsoft Azure-based DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new applications and enhance existing ones with Microsoft technologies.
  • Own improvements to an inspection planning system managing field service engineers.
  • Use SQL and PowerShell to automate data flows and provide business insights.
  • Work with third-party partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead improvements in DevOps processes, especially for Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, particularly Microsoft and AI.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, Blazor, C#, Power Platform, Azure).
  • Strong SQL/T-SQL, DevOps, and cloud experience.
  • Leadership experience mentoring junior developers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
