Our client is a reputable regional financial services firm, looking for a Senior Manager in Architecture where you will be part of a small technology team, collaborating with other regional offices.
Responsibilities:
- Architecture Development: Create and document current and target state architectures, as well as annual IT roadmaps for the Asia business and its global clients (GCs).
- Guidance and Oversight: Offer support and guidance in technical solution design, ensuring alignment with business strategies and IT roadmaps, optimizing investments, improving solution scalability, and adhering to regional and global architecture standards.
- Mentorship: Mentor project teams on technical challenges and best practices.
- Reference Architectures: Develop and document architecture templates and reference models for applications, data, and integration, incorporating business, infrastructure, and security aspects.
- Cloud Adoption: Develop and promote the Regional Cloud operating model, driving cloud adoption.
- Solution Delivery: Manage end-to-end solution delivery, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors on solution design and implementation, ensuring quality and compliance with requirements.
The role requires effective communication, planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders, including regional IT teams and vendors.
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognized University in an IT related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in a technical role, including project implementation, solution delivery, solution architecture, system development, and integration
- Over 8 years in architecture practice and governance, with deep understanding of architecture functions, principles, and best practices across Business, Systems, Data, Infrastructure, and Security domains
- Experience in the Financial and Insurance sectors, with familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for financial institutions is preferred
- Proficient in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure), Cloud-native solutions, Enterprise PaaS/SaaS platforms, multi-tenancy platforms, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, Microservices, API management and orchestration, Web and Mobile Applications
- Familiar with managing IT architecture using EA tools like LeanIX
- TOGAF 9 or similar certification and AWS Solution Architect certification are desirable
