I am currently working with a client of mine based in Dublin city centre who are looking to hire a self motivated and ambitious senior analyst on a permanent basis. My client is a well known entity in the insurance and reinsurance space. They are a leading, privately owned, multi-line global reinsurer with a reputation of financial stability and strength.

Their 12 person Analytics team which has a presence in Dublin, Zurich and Strasbourg is expanding and are looking for a professional with a background in reinsurance who can be accountable and responsible for the following areas.

* Handling of internal retrocession processes
* Reconciliations between sub and general ledger
* Support of internal and external reporting (GAAP, regulatory and statutory reporting)
* Support of the external and internal audit process
* Portfolio analyses
* Support projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
* Maintenance of appropriate process documentation
* Cooperation with and support of functional areas such as Finance, Reserving, UW Operation teams
* Calculation, analysis and monitoring of premium and commission estimates
