Reporting and Data - Business Analyst
Location: Amsterdam
Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 fulltime + bonus (up to 20%)

We are seeking a skilled Reporting and Data - Business Analyst to join an international financial institution in Amsterdam. This position involves developing innovative solutions for complex reporting and data challenges while contributing to the organization's regulatory compliance and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work on a variety of projects that involve improving data quality, managing stakeholder requirements, and supporting the organization's ability to meet external reporting obligations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions and act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements to develop reporting and data solutions.
- Collaborating with IT teams to translate business needs into system changes.
- Supporting regulatory reporting projects by managing tasks and timelines.
- Leading workshops to identify pain points and propose improvements.
- Ensuring traceability of requirements from inception to implementation.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process optimization.
- Designing and overseeing acceptance tests for new systems or updates to existing ones.
What we're looking for
We are seeking candidates with a proven ability to work on data-driven projects in complex environments. You should have:
- A degree (Bachelor's or higher) in a relevant field such as economics, IT, or business.
- At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on reporting or data management.
- Familiarity with data tools such as SQL (essential) and Power BI (preferred).
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Experience with regulatory reporting, Python programming, Agile methodologies, or Prince II certification is advantageous.
