What You'll Do:
As an experienced compliance professional, you'll be responsible for:

• Acting as the regulatory lead for specific compliance domains, ensuring alignment with European financial regulations such as MIFID II, and focusing on conflict of interest management.
• Developing and maintaining group policies, advising on their practical application, and supporting regulatory traceability to enhance compliance.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments, gap analyses, and providing targeted recommendations to address areas of non-compliance.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders to offer trusted advice on regulatory issues related to market conduct and client protection.
• Leading compliance initiatives, driving training programs, and ensuring effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms are in place.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Regulatory Expertise: A strong command of European regulatory frameworks, particularly around MIFID II, with additional knowledge of complementary regulations such as CSDR, MAR, and EMIR.
• Problem-Solver: Adept at analyzing complex regulatory requirements, identifying compliance risks, and proposing practical solutions.
• Project Management: Capable of managing multiple compliance initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-impact outcomes.
• Effective Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Commercial Awareness: Ability to link regulatory changes with business strategies and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related fields (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance within financial services.
• Fluency in English (C1 or above); knowledge of French or Dutch is advantageous.
