QA Lead
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to join our dynamic team. The QA Lead will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions for our insurance products. The role involves leading a team of QA engineers, developing test strategies, executing test plans, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software meets functional, security, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the reliability and performance of insurance applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software meets business requirements.
- Identify, track, and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Establish and enforce best practices for quality assurance processes.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in QA and the insurance industry.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Engineer in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Insurance industry knowledge is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
- €85,000 - €95,000
