Project: Warehouse Management System Implementation
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) within distribution facilities in APAC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution and deployment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:*
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) across multiple distribution facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, logistics, and external vendors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget constraints.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and third-party services, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure that the WMS implementation meets quality standards and fulfills business objectives, including improved efficiency, accuracy, and visibility within the distribution network.
- Support user training and change management initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of the new system.
- Oversee post-implementation activities, including system testing, optimization, and ongoing support and maintenance.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on system implementation projects, preferably in the retail or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is advantageous.
