Project Manager - Optimisation/Automation (Non-Tech) - 55K

The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with various Asia markets to drive the digital transformation initiatives and data automation and process optimisation ambitions. This project manager will work closely with various functions, such as Operations, Technology, Risk, and Global Partners.

Key responsibilities will include:


* Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues to keep the project on track.

* Manage full project cycle: Support the project lead on the full project development cycle, from the ideation stage, screen & prioritisation, feasibility study, to the execution and implementation. Utilise the right techniques and tools to facilitate end-to-end processes effectively.

* Project Inventory: Create and maintain project assets, such as websites and wikis, to ensure transparency and visibility.

* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Operations, and Business Units, to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage stakeholder expectations.

* Team Coordination: Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Problems / Challenges:

* Change management: Overcome reluctance to new technologies or processes. Develop and implement effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
* Complexity: Manage the complexity and scope of large-scale transformation projects that may span multiple departments and functions.
* Alignment Across Departments: Ensure cross functional alignment and collaboration, , address potential conflicts or misalignment's that may arise during projects.

Competencies/Knowledge:

* Innovation: Keen interest in and understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends.
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
* Project Management: Proficient in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
* Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.

Qualifications/Education
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
* At least 7 years relevant experience in data project, process optimisation & automation, low code/no code initiatives.
* Agile / lean, PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
* Proficiency in Power Platform Suites, RPA or similar tools.
* Self-motivated, independent with minimal supervision and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Execution focused with a keen problem-solving mindset.
* Excellent verbal and written English and Cantonese communication skills.
