Power BI Developer - £35,000
Our client is an industry leading organisation, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power BI Developer to join their expanding dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Junior Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards. You will work closely with data analysts and stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Develop, automate, and maintain interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Perform data modelling and data transformation using Power Query and DAX.
- Maintain data governance standards and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboards.
- Support end-users by providing training and troubleshooting assistance.
- Working with the Data Engineering team to develop new processes and procedures to support ETL/ELT transformations and new data sources.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience working with Power BI, including report creation and data visualisation.
- Basic understanding of business systems such as ERP, CRM, and PIM. Basic understanding and experience of DAX, SQL, Power BI visualisations, modelling, and transformations. Experience connecting Power BI to Azure Data Services and SQL Server Analysis Services.
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
