Oliver James is currently keen to speak to part qualified financial accountants with over two year's experience. We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader within the insurance and reinsurance space.

This exciting role will work in a multinational group environment. The role will have a particular focus on a major international segment of the company and will involve extensive interaction with finance and management functions at both Group Head Office and segment level.

Key Responsibilities;

• Assisting with the delivery of the quarterly group reporting submissions to Head Office.
• Preparing commentaries which analyse the key drivers of results.
• Assisting with the delivery of monthly investment reporting through the group investment management system.
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial plan and quarterly reforecast projections.
• Liaising with external and internal auditors on deliverables and queries.

Who You Are;

• Part-qualified accountant with 2-3 year's experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills - broad and detailed knowledge of the IFRS reporting standards (with exposure to IFRS 17 a distinct advantage).
• Enthusiasm for technical/analytical work, and strong attention to detail
