Oliver James are partnered with a new entrant to the BPA market, their performance since entering the market has been exceptional, now our support is required to increase the headcount of the team support the growing pipeline of work they have in place.

I am looking for nearly or newly qualified actuaries (maximum 3 years post qualification) with experience in BPA pricing to join this high performing team. As they are a new entrant to the market you will get involved in various activities as part of the buy in/buy out process giving you a holistic view of bulk purchase annuities.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Close to or have a maximum of 3 years experience post qualifying as an actuary
• Have experience in BPA pricing from a BPA provider
• Entrepreneurial, a willingness to get involved in ad-hoc tasks the team needs support with will enable your growth!

In return for your hard work you can expect rapid progression. The number 1 complaint I have from actuaries in the BPA space is that they were too late to the party and everyone who joined at the start are ear marked for all the top positions on the team and there is no way to surpass them, this is one of those opportunities.
