Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Claims Solutions team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing and enhancing our claims processing systems and policies. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and ensure that our claims solutions align with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current claims processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for claims solutions.
- Design and develop functional specifications that meet business needs and enhance user experience.
- Work with IT and development teams to implement new systems and enhancements, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Conduct UAT and support training initiatives to ensure successful system rollouts.
- Monitor system performance and gather feedback to continuously refine claims solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management to highlight findings and recommendations.
- Support compliance and regulatory initiatives related to claims processing.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in claims management and insurance technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of claims processing and insurance operations.
- Proficiency in process modeling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
