What Will You Do?

As a pivotal member of the IT department, your role will involve:

• Engineering Robust Systems: Configure, maintain, and innovate Linux-based systems to support vital organizational functions.
• Optimizing Performance: Ensure optimal performance through regular system tuning, capacity monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ensuring Security and Stability: Oversee system security, backups, and implement redundancy strategies.
• Leading Technological Advancements: Collaborate on R&D projects to keep pace with IT business needs, while scripting and automating for efficiency.
• Emergency Readiness: Be a reliable on-call resource during emergencies and planned maintenance.

Who Are You?

• A holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Proficient with Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS, Debian), scripting (Bash, Python, Perl), and knowledgeable in TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S.
• Experienced with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is highly desirable.
• You are an excellent problem solver, capable of working under pressure and fluent in English. Multilingual abilities in French or Dutch are advantageous.
