Lead Infrastructure Architect - £80K-£85K
Oliver James' industry leading technology client are looking for a dynamic Lead Infrastructure Architect to join their Professional Services team to focus on implementing innovative new capabilities for customers across a variety of technologies.
In this role you will be focused on engaging with senior customer stakeholders on large-scale complex transformations, translating business requirements to technical solutions, create technical designs and support implementation squads throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design and implement technical solutions (across different infrastructure technologies, such as physical or virtual infrastructure and hybrid or multi cloud environments)
- Consultatively assess business and operational challenges with customers
- Provide recommendations highlighting both advantages and risks
- Embody being a technical lead (to internal colleagues and external customers) and be the 'go to' for technical projects
Key Skills Needed:
- Strong previous experience within an Architect position
- Previous experience within a customer facing position and ability to consult. Ideally within a Managed Service or Outsourced business model.
- Outstanding technical knowledge across Cloud (Preferably Azure), Data Centres, Storage, Virtualisation (VMWare or Hyper-V), Networking (Preferably LAN/WAN and Cisco) and Operating Systems (Windows is essential and any experience with Linux would be advantageous).
- Previously providing strong technical leadership within a fast paced environment
