Role Overview:
Oliver James is collaborating with a top Financial Services firm to support a full-scale JIRA implementation project. We are seeking an experienced JIRA Developer with a strong background in setting up JIRA from scratch within business environments. This role is ideal for a JIRA professional who has led end-to-end implementations, including configuration, customisation, and integrations, and can deliver a robust JIRA system tailored to organisational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a complete JIRA system tailored to business requirements.
• Customise JIRA workflows, fields, permissions, and schemes to support diverse teams.
• Configure integrations with other tools and applications.
• Provide expertise in JIRA best practices, system optimisation, and future-proofing the setup.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to align JIRA configurations with operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of building and deploying JIRA environments from scratch.
• Strong experience in JIRA configuration, customisation, and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with JIRA integrations and plugins.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with project stakeholders.
• Previous experience within Financial Services or similar industries is advantageous.
