As the Head of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and DevOps strategy. You will lead a team of engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps engineers.
Oversee the design, deployment, and management of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
Implement and maintain best practices in automation, monitoring, and incident response.
Collaborate with software development and security teams to drive DevOps culture.
Manage vendor relationships and optimize cloud and infrastructure costs.
Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and data protection laws.
Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and DevOps, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
Strong understanding of networking, security, virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools).
Excellent knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
Strong leadership and project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
