A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire a Field Property Claims Adjuster for their High Net Worth Residential Property team. In this technical role, you will be responsible for handling wide ranging HNW residential property claims by conducting field visits across the states of NY, NJ, PA and surrounding states. Claims will range from weather damages, building collapses and other property damage types all within the residential/personal property market. Claims will also include damages to valuable property such as jewellery, fine art and other collectables.
Experience / Skills required:
- 4+ years experience field claims experience within personal lines property
- Exposure to high net worth property including jewellery, fine art and collectables highly beneficial
- Experience handling a range of residential property damages including weather damages
- Experience working with an insurance carrier or leading TPA as a field claims adjuster
- Experience with coverage including writing coverage letters
- Experience managing key business & customer relationships
- Adjuster License in multiple states including NY - essential
- Must be based close to Manhattan NYC as 4 days in office per week is required
This role is 4 days in their Manhattan NYC office with regular field visits to customers. Field visits will be across Manhattan and other surrounding cities in the North East. The role has an excellent base salary of $110,000 plus 10% annual bonus. Please note due to travel required in NYC a company vehicle is not provided however all travel costs will be paid for my the insurer.
