Director of Engineering
Dublin, Ireland (2 days per week on-site)
Up to €150,000 (DOE)
I am looking to speak to Director of Engineering for a permanent position based in Dublin. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing our engineering department, setting strategic goals, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable software/hardware solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute the company's technical vision and strategy.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high-quality engineering practices.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.
- Mentor and develop engineering leaders and team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering).
- Strong technical background with knowledge in Java and/or Ruby, JavaScript, and React
- Track record of successfully leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
