SENIOR DATA ANALYST - INSURANCE SECTOR
Your Role & Work Environment
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in fostering a data-driven culture within a leading company in the insurance sector. Your mission will be to support business teams by providing valuable insights that enhance decision-making processes and optimize customer interactions.
You will be part of an agile, multidisciplinary team, collaborating with professionals across various domains to develop impactful analytical solutions. Your work will focus on creating automated dashboards, conducting deep dives into customer behaviors, and generating advanced reports to drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Translating Business Needs into Analytical Solutions
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and challenge business requirements.
- Assess feasibility, define clear objectives, and set realistic timelines.
- Ensure data availability and design a suitable analytical approach, effectively communicating your methodology to stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Execution
- Conduct in-depth analysis on customer data to address business questions.
- Perform customer behavior analysis and develop predictive models.
- Create advanced ad-hoc reports using tools such as SQL, Cognos, and Adobe Analytics.
Delivering Insights & Recommendations
- Use data visualization techniques to communicate findings effectively.
- Adapt messaging and storytelling to suit different audiences.
- Provide clear, data-driven recommendations while considering data privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in the insurance sector.
- Strong SQL skills (mandatory).
- Experience with analytical tools such as SAS, Cognos, or Adobe Analytics (preferred).
- Ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
