We invite you to join our dynamic Cyber Defence team as a Security Logging & Monitoring Expert, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our systems against cyber threats.

🛡️ About the Role:

As a Security Logging & Monitoring Expert, you will:

Translate Vision into Action: Define and communicate the Cyber Defence vision and strategy into actionable target operating models and processes for Security Logging & Monitoring capabilities.
Engage Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders and IT teams to clarify requirements, remove roadblocks, and ensure alignment around Security Logging & Monitoring capabilities.
Ensure Quality and Delivery: Oversee the delivery of the yearly roadmap, set quality standards, develop test plans, and monitor user story acceptance criteria.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead problem resolution, improve team processes, and ensure a prompt and efficient service.
KPI Management: Responsible for key performance indicators (KPIs) for Security Logging & Monitoring.

💡 What We're Looking For:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in information security, preferably 7 years.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of IT security technology and processes (e.g., secure networking, web infrastructure, system security, SOC tooling).
- Experience in building SOC frameworks, processes, and roles.
- Familiarity with log aggregation, SIEM solutions, and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, ELK).
- Knowledge of applicative security ecosystems and web application security development (OWASP).
Soft Skills:
- Passion for Cyber Security.
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Team player with good internal client-facing skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

💼 Preferred Qualifications:

Banking Sector Knowledge: Understanding of the architecture of banking applications and relevant threat factors.
Education: Bachelor/Master's degree or equivalent by experience.
