My client is a global insurance company with strong transformation and growth in New Business POS, and eApplication.
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on testing on a contract basis until end of 2025. This role will sits under the digital solutions team and will handle various digital transformation related project.
Job duties
- Work closely with Product Owner and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements
- Prepare test cases and perform test review with relevant parties
- Define requirements and prepare test data
- Perform test execution
- Report defects found in timely and clear manner
- Work closely with BA and development team on finding resolution
- Regularly report test results to peers, team lead and relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate and co-operate with other test resources on test preparation and execution
- Perform sanity check and support on post-production checks, including occasional overnight and public holiday work (e.g. midnight to 4am once to twice a month)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience, with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Must have hands-on experience in all facets of application test cycle, including test case and data preparation, test execution, defect management and test reporting
- Possess insurance background, ideally in NB POS/eApplication, with knowledge in FNA, proposal and the whole insurance application journey
- Previous experience working in insurance system upgrade projects an advantage
- Previous experience working in projects from ideation to rollout preferrable
- Able to be productive while working independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English
