Our client, a prominent leader in the Insurance industry, is searching for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting & Regulatory Policy Manager to join their dynamic Finance department. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies and regulatory reporting standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and IFRS accounting
- Manage and guide financial analysis and reporting processes to adhere to legal regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial statements and business insights.
- Review changes in accounting regulations and standards, advising management on necessary actions to remain compliant.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, enhancing their skills and ensuring quality in reporting.
Key Skills
- Profound knowledge and expertise in Statutory Reporting and IFRS 17 Accounting
- Must have prior knowldge of working within the UK Insurance Market, either within in industry or consultancy.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and implement accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Proactive in identifying issues and delivering efficient solutions.
